Because Hecate didn't watch her pet world closely that the most important school in the wizarding world end up being destroyed by Percy's enemies. So, Hecate sends them back in time. When? When the golden trio went back to Hogwarts to repeat their seventh year since it was the time Hogwarts got destroyed. So, Percy and his friends has to save Hogwarts from being destroyed. At least he gets to be with his best friends. Then some new kid shows up and he can't help but be a little jealous. He was the grandson of Voldemort and the girls were just falling at his feet. Even Ginny and Hermione were swayed by this boy. He was a death eater, and Harry could prove it. Luckily for him, the Triwizard Tournament was right around the corner.
