I, Isa Lauris Schumacher, am from a long line of...you guessed it, shoemakers. Over two-hundred years ago, my ancestors in Germany, began Schumacher Shoemaking in a little shop. A little shop that almost didn't make it. Until it did.
Everyone knows the tale of the Elves and the Shoemaker, right? Wrong. You don't even know half of it. What you don't know, ever since the Schumachers' accepted the Elves' gifts during that time, a curse was placed upon them. A curse that's currently killing my dad, like it did his dad, and his dad's dad before him, all the way back to the first. They all died before their thirty-seventh Christmas. Well, my dad's thirty-seventh Christmas is on its way...
Not only the men of my family is doomed, but the Other-World where the Elves, Fae, and Othercreatures live is in peril too. If that world is to perish, the human one won't be far behind. Only the blood of a Schumacher can stop it. At least, that's what I'm told by my family's Helping Elf.

This is a story about a boy named Logan, it's also a story about a shoe and a book. Everyone knows the tale of Cinderella, but nobody knows where it really came from, nobody knows her glass slippers were actually boots, nobody knows that the fairy god mother was just a family friend and nobody knows that Cinderella was really just a nerdy farm boy trying to scrape by. Logan's life has been essentially taken from him, he's abused by his step father Roman, his Step brother Patton insults him every chance he can get and he's been closed off from the outside world. The only person he has left anymore is his god father Picani who's completely at his wits end, one day though he meets a handsome stranger named Remus and he can't stop thinking about him , all of sudden Logan can't just sit around and fade into the background like his step family wants him to. He's gotta take a stand and find his destiny and there's no fairies or talking mice to help him out on this one. Brothers
Older brothers. I have more than people could handle. I have 8 brothers. Well one is my twin, but surprise surprise he likes to make it known that he is older. Sometimes it sucks being the only girl, but I wouldn't change it for the world. My name is Alora. I am 14 years old and a freshmen in high school. People think that my family is perfect and that we have never had anything bad happen to us. We lost our mom over 9 years ago. I also had something bad happen to me, but I will get into more detail in the story. This book is just for fun. And this book is inspired by so many people, so if something seems similar tell me so I can give credit, but I would love to give a few books that inspired me to write this are "I'm a Costello," by _crazy_hooman_ , "The Storm's Return," by Cocomazza, "Our Little Moon" by nunu110383, and finally "Resilience" by liswatiii. Breaking Curses
Being a daughter of a famous witch, you were quite good at hiding. You grew up without knowing who your father was. Your mother never really paid attention to you even until her death. Her death spread all over Fairytale Island like wildfire. It wasn't surprising, she was one of the evilest witches in Fairytale Island. Even though your mother was evil, you were opposite from her. In fact, the only things you inherited from her were power and intelligence. And also, half of her features forcing you to wear a cloak and a veil whenever you leave your home. Meeting seven dwarves and a beautiful girl was not what you expected your week off to start. And being with them having an adventure was also not what you expected to spend your week off with. But you don't have a choice anyway. Your curiosity was getting the best of you and all you can do is satisfy it. During a whole week of adventure and satisfying your curiosity, you didn't notice the satisfaction you also got. You found real friendship. And that week was probably the best week you spent during your whole lifetime. You promised yourself to treasure that every single moment of it.
