I sent the stranger a cold look, my brain barely registering the electric currents that were currently shooting up my arm as Axton intertwined our fingers, pulling me closer to him in defense.
"What do you want." I asked bitterly, not wanting to deal with this strange man.
"Isn't it obvious Ara? I know what your mother could do. I know what you can do. I can tell you one thing, that puppy boy of yours isn't going to stop me."

Arabella Bayne has the world after her, and her twin brother, Weston. Her mother went through the same thing after all, it's only fair for the cruel world to put poor Ara through the same thing, right?
