"Trouble doesn't find you, Diesel, you look for it. Tearing everything in your path, no matter who or what comes in your way!" I seethed at him, keeping my eyes challengingly on his emeralds. His head comes down, towering over me, casting me deeper in the depth of his darkness. His calloused hands circle around my shoulders and push me back into the wall. The skin of my back being grazed from rough bricking. "Everyone has light around them, except for you, Blaze... you have shadows. You try and drown your demons, but they knew how to swim a long time ago. You are just as much of a monster as I am." Clenching my jaw, I silence myself from releasing an insolent remark, knowing Diesel is right. I am a monster. My nails dig into the flesh of my palm as I try to smoother the red haze creeping around my vision, abnormal wrath pulsing into my veins. 'No', I thought. I hardly left the sanctuary before, if I was to be dragged back there once again, they'll see what kind of terror I really am. One that cannot be submissive. ************************************************************ Blaze has been on her own since the beginning, running from her nightmares. Using a tough exterior to shield herself from the cruel creatures. With her brothers, one of which is the leader of the Scorched Skulls, and godforsaken parents, she fights for sanity. After getting expelled for her disobedience and uncontrollable anger issues, she is sent to the rival school which has damnable secrets that run deep. Then there's Diesel, his life is the aftermath of a hurricane. He could destroy in the most beautiful way possible, then when he is done, society starts to understand why storms are named after people. What happens when gasoline is engulfed by the flames. (ALSO, a great thanks to my awesome, stupid, best friend Lorraine, @StackingThoseBooks. For procrastinating by making me this cover instead of working on her own book.) ;)))
