Kai is a normal girl who has no intrest in love. She is the school nerd and is always focused on work. She has to, if she doesnt she has no chance for college. Her family is poor and her father is sick. Kai works every second she doesn't have her nose in her books and stays up to late hours to study. Her peers at school don't understand this. On a daily basis Kai is bullied. She's strong, but she'll fall if things dont change. Luke has no intrest for love and could care less about family. He's always at parties and getting drunk. Caught in the moment, Luke's mind never wonders the his future but it's catching up to bite him in the butt. He needs a tutor and she needs a friend, badly.
