Kai was orphaned at 7. Imprisoned and Experimented on at 10. By 15 she was the strongest elemental mage in centuries. And by 17, she had abandoned the organization that raised her and went rogue.
Years after running away, Rogue Mage Kai is recruited by Doctor Strange to join the Avengers. The Avengers need her help to guard earth from the enemies eager to destory it, but Kai isn't the kind of person willing to risk her life to protect a world that doesn't care about her.
Will she end up another Avenger, willing to fight the battles that the rest of humankind cannot? Or is Kai going to do what she did all those years ago- abandon everything and save herself?
