This book is based on the Fictional game franchise known as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The story takes place in an area around the city Chernobyl, once the site of Nuclear energy plants that exploded. The area around this city is called the Exclusion Zone, or the Zone for short. The Zone is home to Mutants and a unique environmental phenomenon known as anomalies. These anomalies contain priceless items known as Artifacts and these artifacts attract people to the Zone. They call themselves S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs and they are mostly people looking for fortune and glory.  Such factions as Duty and Freedom have taken hold in the Zone and rather than looking for artifacts they search for truth and the alleged Center of the Zone.All Rights Reserved
