Between Mirrors and Roses (A Phantom of the Opera Fanfiction) ✓
The life of an ordinary girl is turned upside down when she is transported into her favorite musical, "The Phantom of the Opera," in the place of the elegant heroine. Negotiating life in 19th-century Paris is challenging enough without a diva scheming for leads, a sarcastic Persian's input, and two very different men battling for her affections! Should she stay faithful to the plot of the story or rewrite history? Should she choose a safe path with a reliable husband or risk her future following her mysterious Phantom? Told from the points of view of Erik - the Phantom - and the newly-made Christine, this story follows them both as they work through their respective demons to find love in the person that is a little different from all their imaginings. "A really well-written Erik/OC, with a lovely, smart, likable heroine. If you ever fantasized about taking Christine's place in POTO, read this." - @olivesky "I am literally crying right now. That was so good!" - @musicalsnmarkiplier "One of the best fan fictions I have ever read" - @elephant_hugger "I just discovered this today and finished it in one go. This is an extraordinary work, Erik deserves you to portray him 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻" - @Myatnoe123 "Sacrificing a few hours of sleep was worth finishing this." - @LiberDose "I must confess you've ruined all other Phantom of the Opera fanfictions" - @LilRed315 "Thank you for the 2-in-the-morning giggles, the falling-out-of-the-bed-blushing phangirl moments, and just writing this book in general! You are the best author!" - @ThatBabyQuinnDoh *Now available to read on archiveofourown.org* Disclaimer: I do not own The Phantom of the Opera or its characters. Angel of Music
The Grand Opera Populaire was once a place of delight and entertainment and now it lies crumbled and neglected. It's once grand walls that many queued outsides its boundaries, are now seen in disgust and ridicule. Only one person stands and gazes at the building with sorrow. She is dismal that such a building that once was absolute, is now forgotten and appalled. After all the stories and tales of the theatre, she can not help but imagine. Imagine what it would have been, what it once was. What it should still be. But nothing lasts forever, not even the Grand Opera Populaire can last forever. One upon another time, the theatre held secrets of all kinds, some worse than other, some more extreme than others, some mysterious as others. But that once upon another time ended when a tragedy happened, causing a chandelier in pieces. A love story of imaginable beauty, sorrow, and horror. A story that causes a catastrophic event. A love story that led the Opera Populaire to become neglected and abandoned. A love story that was rarely told. A story of which I'm willing to tell. A story that needs to be heard.Complete
Finding the Beauty Underneath
Emilie Castille has always been intrigued by stories of the infamous Opera Ghost. When her father tells her that auditions are going to be held at the Opera Populaire for singers, dancers, and musicians, Emilie wonders why only men can be musicians in the orchestra. When she decides to audition anyway as a violinist to prove a point, she becomes entangled with the Opera Ghost himself. As it turns out, Monsieur Opera Ghost is nothing like she had thought. When she joins him in his home, everything she knows about the world gets turned upside down. Emilie must face that the world is full of selfish people--including her own father. Will Emilie succumb to the Opera Ghost's thoughts about the cruel world, or will she be able to reach past it and manage to find the beauty underneath in him? Note: Obviously, I do not own any of the characters or songs to "The Phantom of the Opera". I do own the characters I created in this story, the plot, the cover I created, and any pictures I post with this story. This story starts when Messieurs Andre and Firmin have just taken over the Opera Populaire, however, there are some differences between the original "The Phantom of the Opera" story and mine.Complete
