After the events in Star Wars: The Last Jedi Rey is determined to defeat the 'First Order' and save Kylo Ren but Kylo is also just as determined to destroy the rebels and turn Rey to the dark side so that they may rule the galaxy together. Rey is creating new friends and relationships with the rebels especially a fighter pilot 'Poe' and has finally found a sense of family and home within the rebellion but with the connection growing stronger between Kylo and Rey. Kylo finds out about her new found friends and the pilot that is slowly winning Rey's heart and her new found sense of home and comfort that he is motivates him further to destroy the rebells and take Rey.
