He moved from the helm, swiftly reaching me before grabbing me by my waist. I let out a surprised gasp as he pulled me to his chest. "Well then, Lewis. Most call me 'captain,' but you may have the pleasure of calling me James. Welcome aboard the Merry Blackbird."

It happened so quickly.. Before I knew it we where attacking Clause's men. Each man and woman dieing one by one. Blood splattered on the deck and our swords dripped with the red liquid. "Stay out here and make sure we didn't leave anyone!" I ordered and headed towards the Captains office/room. I kicked the door open and my eyes widen at the sight. A man with white hair almost like snow if it wasn't dirty. His abs seemed to be trained and tanned, oh how grateful I am that he doesn't have a shirt on. He had glistening sky blue eyes that seem to put anyone into a trance, and oh that evil smirk wooed me. But aside of the sexy looks, he killed Captain Clause! The lifeless body of the Captain, laid still on the ground blood leaving his chest in big amounts. Oh how angry I felt towards the hot man standing in front of me. "Well if it isn't Captain haddock." He smirked and cleaned his sword with a hankie. "Yes, and you are?" I said sounding close to an order. "Jack, Jack Frost"Complete

"What do you want?" I snap, slamming my locker shut. His casual smirk, messy dark hair, tan skin, strong arms, eerie storm-grey eyes... the list could go on of things I notice- that I shouldn't notice- about him. "Oh, I want a lot of things." He inspects a speck of dirt on his arm. "I'm sure you've heard the news?" His eyes flicker back up to meet mine. Does he know? No. He can't. So I roll my eyes. He can't know that I know, that I would do anything to be the first one he tells. "You'll have to be more specific." I mutter, trying to look casual as I inspect my nails. "Well, it involves a certain title of the swim team," He offers. I shrug. "So you got captain. That's cool. And what do I have to do with that?" He narrows his eyes, trying to read my expression. Unfortunately for him, I have mastered the art of hiding my emotions. "This is what I wanted to talk to you about. During English," He fiddles with his sweater sleeve. "I recall you trying to talk to me," I frown. "Well, I..." He swallows, seeming... nervous? "I'm not doing too great... subject wise. And if I don't pick up my ass soon, I might be forced to quit." He rubbed the back of his neck, making his shirtsleeve slide up his arm to reveal a strong bicep. Not that I notice. I narrow my eyes. "And what do I get back in return?" I cross my arms. I'm going to be late for the bus if we don't hurry. He studies my face. "Name your price." He mirrored my position. I sigh. Money... but I don't need it. Popularity... but I don't want it. I meet his gaze steadily. He lifts his chin, the tiniest bit, but it doesn't intimidate me. I square my shoulders and stand up straight. He's only just taller than me. Sighing I rolled over, clutching the blankets to me. "But you are a lot nice than he ever was." Praxis didn't seem to know what to say to that, I guess it was a pretty hard thing to follow. "You know your safe here." He didn't mean it as a question but simply a statement. Letting out a little laugh I fully looked at him. "May we sail far tonight because the land is no place for me and there is no where on it I shall ever be safe." "But you are safe in the ocean?" He asked, frowning slightly. I shook my head. "I am destined to die by drowning. It is why we left the ocean though manny believed if we had stayed then my destiny may have changed." "How can you drown where you can breath under water?" He said looking very confused. "I can only breath under water when I want to, witch makes me think that when I die it will be because I choose to." I told him as I began to drift off. ~~~ When a half mer held captive for most of his life finaly escapes he finds that freedom is better than he dreamed, yet with both the fake king of land and the real king of sea hunting him he knows he only has so long to enjoy it. Yet he has one hope, find Eric, the only suviving member of the true royal family and restore him to the throne. Then and only then he could be safe somwhere. But with only a ship full of missfit pirates and their Captine Praxis to help him he realises that there isnt much hope as time run's out.Complete
