Valerlanta is a thief with secret magic and a yearning for freedom from her past. Venic is a knight on the run with a secret that has two kingdoms out for his head. Together, these two people from very different upbringings must learn to work together in order to race the king and his army for puzzles that are a key to an ancient vault of power. ____ STORY MOOD: To Steal From a King is an action/adventure story that is written to be fun. It originally was supposed to be like a cheesy action movie, but some points are a bit more dark and serious than that. ________ POINT-OF-VIEW It is written as third-person limited with two point-of-views(Venic and Valerlanta) that switch by chapter. ____________ TRIGGER WARNINGS: violence, scary themes, blood, self-harm(for the sake of blood magic), confinement.
