Emily is a 16 year old girl that hates her mother, and her father is her only friend. All she does all day is go out and be by herself, or spend time with her father. Or anywhere away from her mother, who she thinks is trying to sell her off as an early bride.
When a wicked war rages over her village against their tyrant ruler, a major tragedy happens forces Emily to make some major decisions, when the sky opens up, and hundreds of dragons appear, and help them in the war.
Emily see's one girl in particular riding a magnificent beast, and flies away. She then sets out to discover who this mysterious girl is and where she came from.
