Evie Roberts is your normal high school girl. She is witty, somewhat academically smart, and knows how to shut someone up with her sarcasm. After losing three years in a row, she finally wants to be the Student Body President this time. She will do anything to win the title.

Claude Jones is her rival and the Student Body President since three years. Driving the town in his Citroen, he barely cares about anything that happens around him. Anything, unless it involves Alice Walker, his long time crush and Evie's best friend. He will do anything to get her attention.

Two unlikely people who only know to compete with each other are brought together in a chaotic mess when Claude steps down the elections for Evie, and wants her to set him up with Alice, in return.

A deal is made and everything is sorted, until secrets are revealed, confessions are made, and suddenly everyone realizes life is not as easy as it seems.

And love? Well, it never comes at the right time, and when it does, it is always too late.
