❝When Rey finds herself having night terrors within just a few hours of escaping Crait, she finds herself seeing Kylo Ren in each one. Rey begins to ignore these dreams, believing that they were nothing. But on the other side of the galaxy, we find Kylo Ren having a dream where he sees Rey as well. The two unaware that they are dreaming of each other would soon end up finding out more and more about each other after Kylo finds out what planet they had escaped too.
With the remaining Resistance soldiers scattered along the stars and some huddled together, the First Order desperately tries to rebuild and sniff them out once and for all. With the leadership of Kylo Ren, Hux isn't so sure how they would find them, especially when his greatest weakness would be to the side of him at all times. The Resistance is forced to find Rey and take her back to The Resistance as she is their only hope at winning this ever lasting war.
Will The Resistance win this war and end it through peace and love as Rose Tico believes or will the First Order crush them and take back full control of galaxy? It's uncertain at this point. All that is known is that the war is still raging on and with Poe taking lead of The Resistance and guiding them to find Rey along with having a victory, the First Order will for sure have to put up a fight with these strong wielded and strong hearted soldiers. ❞

Choosing A Commander
Kyla is a pilot for the Resistance after her parents were murdered by the First Order. She flies under the call sign Black-Nine with the Black Squadron in her custom green T-70 X-wing with her green and silver droid BB-7. Poe Dameron is a Commander for the Resistance and leader of Black Squadron and goes by the call sign Black Leader. Poe's affection for Kyla has been well hidden for the seven months he has known her. Kylo Ren is the Commander of the First Order after becoming Supreme Leader Snoke's apprentice. He leads the Knights of Ren in causing mass destruction throughout the galaxy. During a routine sector sweep, Kyla engages Kylo in battle. She's in her X-wing and he's in his TIE-Silencer. When they shoot each other out of the sky, they end up stranded on a deserted planet together. Can they put their hatred for each other aside and work together to get off the planet? Who will rescue them? Which one becomes a prisoner once a savior arrives? Will Commander Dameron save his little pilot from Commander Ren? Or will Commander Ren succeed in stealing the little rebel from Commander Dameron?

Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way. Confronting Fear

What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? But can the two of them overcome their differences and mistrust of each other to accomplish that task or will pride win out? And then there is a certain group of meddling Force Ghosts determined to test them to their fullest. Meanwhile, Finn has a destiny of his own to fulfill chasing visions of his past across the galaxy. Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version.
