Avery Fadial promised her life to the cause she supported, but everything changed when she was found out. Everything around her was torn apart as she was ripped from where she belonged and into an unfamiliar world. The dust just seemed to be settling when something she once wanted so desperately caused uproar, threatening her new-found love and life. An story about a love in a time of war. I almost put this one under 'fantasy' rather than 'science fiction' because in comparison to Atlas, it's definitely not science fiction. But I did have a huge argument with myself about which I should put it in, so I just stuck it in action.

When war erupted across Europe in 1939, sixteen year old Katherine Montague had known what she wanted to do - what she had to do. Now, five years later and a trained nurse in the British army, she finds herself thrust into the thick of that same war. But as the fight for the Western Front rages on, Katherine discovers something amid the rubble of the death and destruction around her. Something that will plunge her into a completely new war - one she'd never intended to fight, but has no intention of losing. The war for William Hughes' heart. Love might be enough to win the battle, but will it be enough to win the war? If not, her own heart just might pay the price.
