Antarctica was the outcast of her family. Even her younger sister, Arctic, and her brothers, Romano and Italy, didn't except her. No one recognized her as a country, but as a Republic. So that is what she became. Even still, she is a member of the Axis Powers. Centuries pass, and Antarctica and Arctic are dying because of Global Warming. Everyone worries about Arctic, but will anyone express concern for the elder Republic?

He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary.
