The Prequel to Saving Me, which will come later. I did thing out of order and created Saving Me in my head first but then decided the reader needed more backstory. So this is Virgil in high school struggling in life.

Logan's fine. Really. He has no problem (has resigned himself) with the fact that his best friends (whom he also has a terrible crush on) are dating. The fact that their other two friends are *also* dating absolutely doesn't pose any additional problem. Neither does Logan being the sole only child of their group. Really, he's okay. His only real friend is his Royal Assistant Logan Crofters. Lord Virgil Anxiety of the Dark Forest is the ruler and protector of the dark forest. He's known more as a legend/myth to everyone outside the dark forest, or as a evil, vious ruler. But to the creatures in the forest, he's a kind, lonely protector that just needs a little love. His only friend is a village boy that visits him named Patton Morre.
