Life had always sucked for Karri (pronounced Keri), but she always had hope. Even though she had experienced a traumatic fail of a trip to the islands that had nearly cost herself and her family her life, even though her mother was a single parent who worked extensively to provide a roof over two kids while her father had his other kids on exotic trips, and even though she seemed to always screw up, she had hope because to her only two things mattered: her mother and her future. Those were her thoughts as she fell asleep the night before. She had to make her mother proud and set up a life to where her future kids wouldn't struggle like her, and her mother could live comfortably. To herself, she didn't matter. Her life was about making others better; she was simply the means to it. First book & I don't know where I want it to go. Any suggestions are welcomed.

"There are things in Life you don't want to happen, but have to accept; and people we can't leave without, but have to let go." This story follows a young 16 year old girl, Keri Eastwood. Her life is full of difficult trails and at some point of view she just feels like to give up everything. But she fails to see the good happening around her. She doesn't realize how her thoughts effect others. It's a wise saying, "You don't understand the value of something or someone until you loose them." This story has a wonderful moral for you.
