We Came, We Saw, We Never Conquered

Hello~ Is this me, beginning another story when I haven't even finished my other one? You bet it is. I couldn't resist, I had to. My inspiration is all over the place. I'm a mess. Enjoy!

You believe we know the person we're closest to perfectly. You've seen them at their best as well as their worst, you've traveled through hell and back. You traveled to see the sights. You think you know them in and out. Then you find them doing the unthinkable, and everything begins to crumble. You question yourself, them, and wonder where it all went wrong.
Sasuke & Naruto go way back, specifically 8 years old. They despised one another, taking every-chance they could to belittle and physically fight each other.
Age 13, Sasuke loses his parents, and his brother can't handle the responsibility of caring for a child on his own. Leaving the boy to an old family friend. Gradually he becomes more quiet and reserved. The only person having remotely any contact with the raven being Naruto.
Age 15, The realization of feelings, something stirs beneath the two more than rivalry, hate, or friendship and they begin to understand this. One jumbled confession from Naruto and a sloppy kiss in the janitors closet later, the two finalize their dating.
Age 19, Graduating, one heading to college. One wanting to travel. Long distance became a thing for short spans of time. Yet the always found a way back to each other, and every break Sasuke would take the chance to travel along with Naruto, look at the beauty of the world and his significant other.
Age 21, An engagement ring and tears of joy.
Age 24, Broken trust and tears of misery
This is where their story begins and ultimately ends.
