Icarus, named after the mythological tale, is a kind-hearted boy born to a poor and disgraced family. Samson, his name meaning sun child, is a wealthy and overprotected prince. The two are forbidden from having contact with each other but somehow become unbreakable friends. Not only does Icarus find himself tangled in a forbidden friendship, but he mistakingly falls in love with Rosalie, Samson's cousin and the princess of their land. The three must choose between the safe life that has been provided to them or a wild and adventurous journey full of passion, romance, and doomed fate.
