Taehyun Rhee a street dancer in Seoul Korea just wants to "make it " as a street dancer. Being the lone wolf of his own dance crew and feeling even more isolated at home, he finds an uncommon friend when his crews long term rivals from Japan's Golden Dragons of Yokohama's second dance captain starts building a friendship with him before they have their big sponsorship dance-off.
Toshirou Ishikawa is doing this because he is being forced to. Dance is a flame that burnt out many years ago for him however, Dance isn't something he wants to do but it is something he is good at. Toshirou is expected to be everything his father tells him too.He finds someone that can set his whole world aflame and make him live more passionately.
