The thing about growing up is that you never really stop growing up. It's constant - continuous. It's difficult in a way that nothing else is. It doesn't get any easier whether you're seven, seventeen, or seventy.

A Dark Rose Blooms (poetry)

141 parts Complete

A piece of me. A place to open all my wounds and share my joy. All the poetry here is personal to me. Writing is an escape for me, and only through writing can I put my thoughts and emotions out into the world honestly. Each piece is dated, the day I wrote that poem or some day close to it. This is a poetic documentation of my life's journey so far as well as show my growth as a writer.
