The loving couple then embark on another journey to find the great wizard Merlin. They encounter many difficulties, perils and privations along the way, but their love for each other remains true. His nightmares had abandoned him and were turned into daydreams by the Sandman himself. Pitch barely had enough energy to create a small nightmare before it would dissappear. Everyone thought he was gone for good, everyone ALWAYS thinks they've truly gotten rid of fear. So when Pitch felt a huge spike of fear and darkness, he followed it to the source.
