Drexel Foster, an Ashen City citizen, an orphan at the age of 7 from an earthquake in the mines. Some say Nemora was angry that day for unknown reasons. Some wonder if the balance of the realms became corrupted. Living with his aunt, Emberlyn Foster, until his gift day, he dreams of one day becoming a high-ranking general in The Force, to hopefully balance dynamics in Ironspire and Noxford. He doesn't know the world is a much bigger and scarier domain. The problems he thought were his main focus will disappear when faced with the possibility of Soulless returning and rumors of the Rebel Empire closing in on Duskspire. Drex will begin to wonder what is changing in his homeland. Nothing seems to be the same since the Emperor's death. With the Empress doing her best to maintain order. Each moment time passes, more things seem not to be as they are.

But Familiar's can be anything. From a sparrow, to the largest of all Familiars, a dragon. But creatures like dragons live in Dragon Mountain, and are very protective of each other if they don't have a human that they are bonded to.
