Percy did not like cats. They were sulky, demanding, and pompous. Percy certainly didn't plan on living with one either, until he met Kat.
Kat did not like trouble-makers. They were arrogant, irritating, and way too confident. She definitely didn't want to live with one either, until she met Percy.
Sometimes, a spark is all it takes to light a fire - or in this case, a cat.
