This is the book that Pamela is writing in my other story which is also titled The Nightingales last. You can read either one first.

Madelyn Hark was just a little girl when her parents died in an unexplainable way. The only thing she remembers from the dreaded day is her parents cold lifeless bodies and the Nightingales sweet call that had come from behind her. Madelyn along with a boy, who she thinks might be involved in her parents death, investigate the death of her parents and uncover secrets they never should have tried to find out.
