"I can't, I can't leave you," she sobbed. "I want to stay here, with you. Please don't make me go."
I gave her one last kiss, my arms around her tight as I thought to myself this is what's best for her.
"Go." I whispered, "I want you to go and live your life, don't worry about me princess, please. This is your only chance, go."
She sobbed even harder, tears streaming down her face as she slowly unwrapped her arms around me. I slid my hand down her arm as she walked away, our fingertips touching for the very last time.
