The Resistance has fallen. With few numbers left, General Leia Organa sends out a distress call to all systems for any supporters still out there. A single transmission is sent back, containing the few words, "The Resistance is still out there. It's burning in Poyter." Poe Dameron and BB-8 are sent on this mission alone, to find the hidden hero and kindle the flame of the Rebellion. What they find on the treacherous, lethal planet of Poyter, however, they would have never expected in their wildest dreams.
Poe has never had to deal with someone like this before. Someone who is reckless as he, passionate as he, but challenges his every move and keeps him on his toes. Someone who reminds him he is human, not a pawn in the galactic war. She's not the type of girl that puts up with shit. She stands up for what she believes in till the end whole-heartedly.. And she believes in him, even when he thinks he is too broken to love. For so long Poe has stored his trauma down beneath the surface to let stew, churn, and boil, but maybe there's still hope. In love and war, that is all anyone can ever ask for.

My earliest memory is pain. Pain of losing a mother, pain of losing the love of a father, pain from the isolation that happened after the incident. I am reminded by others that what happened on that day was an accident and it wasn't my fault, but deep down I know what truly happened and so does my father and brothers. The deep self-anger and self-hate I have was slowly consuming me until I was taken away by General Organa and the Resistance. My life was beginning to look brighter, until the day I was kidnapped by the First Order. This is where my story neither begins nor ends.
