She refused and he left her alone. The next morning, she awoke to be in the woods. She stands up and shivers. No coat was on her. She blames it on her parents. She is stranded in the woods, nowhere to go and noway to get out. She finds a castle and she lets herself in. She's greeted by a chilling presence.

"He watched me. And I could feel it. The skin on my neck tingled and a staticky feeling ran down the length of my spine. I had never felt this way before." Fallon Everskies was searching for something. Answers, maybe, as to why the touch of others burned her. And why her parents constantly kept secrets from her. But most of all, and embarrassingly so, she was searching for love. "She was infuriating. I could smell her, feel her, and taste her even when she was miles away. It drove me insane, she drove me insane. Yet, I yearned for her touch, begged for her entire being. But I knew I couldn't have it." Lucius Dendron hadn't felt alive in years. There were more...obvious reasons as to why this was. But the main reason was plain and simple; he was lonely. Even if he himself didn't want to admit it.
