about a young black girl named Anna who just came out of a behavioral hospital. she deals with an existential crisis and severe anxiety. she takes a semester off of university. during the time, she moves with her grandparents in Maine. she tries to isolate herself even more. but the neighbor across the street interests her. she decides to socialize a bit more. she forms a bond with the neighbors. becoming close with people is hard for Anna. her mental health constantly gets in the way. will she ever escape the prison in her mind? or will it ruin her life?
