"I'm not ready for you too leave!" I said. "I know, I know, but it's my time," my grandma said. "No, I need you please grandma stay, stay with me please! I'm begging you!" I told her. As she laid there and took her final breaths, she laid there and told me "I'll see you again my sugar mountain flower." I was only 17 when it happened.

        Lauren was only 17
when her whole was changed and flipped upside down. She had lived with her grandparents( her fathers dad and step-mom) her mom was too busy getting drunk and sleeping with men while, her dad was becoming more of a, well "sperm donor". She is a very bright young girl with high expectations of not only herself but from others as well. Will she be able to fulfill those expectations with what life throws at her? Or will she have to consider maybe changing some things in her lifestyle to at least move on from the past and accept a new future? Alone.
