"who are you" the little girl gasped seeing a boy seeting on her precious bed. The girl tightly tugged her blanket and continued to maintain eye contact with the handsome man.
"ar-are you Mr. Santa?" the girl innocently asked looking out of the window thinking there might be flying reindeers outside like she always imagined.
"no" the boy replied, his voice sweeter than sugar.
"I don't have a name but I'll be your friend from now onwards" the boy smiled and the moonlight illuminated his beautiful face.
"are you my Christmas present?" the little girl asked excitedly as she clapped her hands.
"you can say that I guess" the boy chuckled and let out a hand.
The little girl immediately held on to it and did a handshake while smiling ear to ear.
"this is the best Christmas gift I've ever had!" she giggled softly which made the young boy look at her in awe.

Since chaeyoung was a child she was always lonely due to her rare genetic condition which prohibited her from going out in the sun.
On one Christmas night the little girl wished that santa could give her a friend.
Surprisingly her wish came true on her 8th Christmas night.

At the start of the story chaeyoung is 8 then 16, then towards the end she is 21 while jimin remains 22 throughout the story. ( jimin doesn't age in this story )

Yes i know this story contains quite big age gap between characters but chaeyoung and him are just friends in the start of the story as she gets older, she starts developing feelings.
