The world has been taken over by Eggman, Sonic is missing, and there is a new villain afoot. What else could go wrong?

(Y/N) is a normal Mobian, she is nothing special. But having come across the new villain Infinite the Jackal, she knows she has to do something to help.

I mean, how hard could it be? After all, she's only the shyest of the shy, the quietest of the quiet, and everyone in the Resistance makes her uncomfortable. Especially Sonic. Most definitely Sonic.

But why does the Hero of Mobius make the (a/t) so damn nervous? All he wants is to be friends, right?

It's a world of war for the Resistance, and a world of more for (Y/N) and Sonic.

Links to their artwork will be added here in a few moments.] As the events of Sonic Forces come to a close, the resistance may have won the war - but for E-123 Omega, the next battle is within. Dr Eggman's so-called strongest creation was able to contribute little to the great conflict, falling to a state of complete shutdown at the hands of a mind-bending sorcerer. For the first time since he swore to destroy the doctor and all that he stood for, Omega had once again been left with nothing to do but ruminate in the darkness of his own faintly-running programming. Before, he could blame the doctor - now, he could blame only himself. Awoken from six excruciating months out of commission, a new feeling of inadequacy begins festering within Omega. The rest of the world seems content in rebuilding the world with meaningless chores, but Omega can't shake the feeling that he's begun losing his focus, losing his touch for combat. The small-fry Egg Pawns aren't enough - he needs a win, a true win, in a real battle. A big one. With a longing to restore his blood-lust after days of busywork and after meeting with Shadow the Hedgehog, Omega volunteers for a recon mission to the mysterious Lost Hex - with the secret goal of meeting with its bloodthirsty demon king, for a true test of conviction. With a first act set during Omega's time out of commission during Sonic Forces, and a second and third act then set after the end of said game but before IDW#05, Hex Value is an interquel story focused on E-123 Omega. It explores the mental toll left on the character, as well as on those close to him, from their meetings with the vicious Infinite, and what it truly means to feel weak.

The Light In The Dark by psycho_tails

This is a Sonadow AU where Shadow is an alien from a different universe. He finds Mobius and tries to become the most powerful... but without anyone noticing him. He is trying to become one of them. Over time, he figures out that Sonic is the quote on quote "ultimate lifeform" on Mobius. He tries to become acquaintances with Sonic so he can learn their culture... as things take a turn. (These characters are seen as young adults. The only child depicted in this story is Tails. So for whoever may be thinking I am sexualizing minors, you're wrong. I also will say that this book is heavily emotional and has very graphic scenes. So I advise to whoever reads this as well to be very open minded and aware of the triggers I've listened down.) Flora Foundry AU (A Sonic AU) by SquishyWritesStories

Some incident has occurred...the world will never remain the same again. The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Due to that reason, do expect some slow updates as I want to give more care of this story as I do with the rest of mine. No ships or any sort of romance would be featured or added here due to me, myself as the writer is not comfortable writing that sort of topic. But of coarse this is where I meet the fastest thing alive, well soon to be second fastest. There are tons of twist and turns for me and even I don't know what's gonna happen next- 'Hey Ark, can you come over here for a sec?' 'Uh, not now Silver I'm busy. Can't you call Sonic or something?' 'He went on a mission with everyone, except Knuckles.' 'What about Knuckles?' 'He's guarding the master emerald on Angel Island.' 'Shadow?' 'Hell no! I'm not asking Shadow. He pretty much hates me for that last prank I pulled.' 'Okay fine, I'll be there in a sec.' Oh well guys. Mr naive needs me to solve some stupid problem again. Can't he use his brain cells for once? Does he even have any? Maybe if he did he wouldn't need me to get him out of trouble all the time. 'I HEARD THAT!' Oops, maybe I shouldn't have said that out loud. I guess I'll see you in the book.
