Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be.  One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods.  As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. 

I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence.  I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started.  For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is.

And those secrets are tearing her, and him apart. Madison doesn't want to bring Daryl into her mess of problems, but when she sees that Daryl's feelings for her are the same as her feelings for him, a few walls might break down.

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that.
