Clary Morgenstern is the daughter of the famous Valentines Morgenstern. She has been trained by her father, to be one of the best shadowhunters of her generation.  On a mission to track down a werewolf pack in New York that has some how managed to find a mortal instrument, she meets the inhabitants of the New York institute. As she begins to fall in love with a certain "golden boy" that she has only heard about in her father's journals, what will happen?
