This is a short story. I know enough times that I give up too easily on long stories, but when I am ready I will do a long story. This is a person taking a walk in Silverdale Woods, a forest he knows well. It is snowing and he is pondering over the scenery. Please comment on mistakes and how it was, I am too harsh with my own criticism.

When my parents told me Santa Claus wasn't real (I was around 11) I didn't believe them. I always believed he was there even now at 16. I don't know why I still do I just felt that somehow he was out there. I just felt that there was still magic out there. I also still believe in the tooth fairy, cupid, easter bunny, father time, mother nature, sandman, and jack frost. When my dad accidentally makes Santa fall off our roof. Then he puts on the coat and becomes Santa! We go to the North Pole and meet an elf named Bernard. He seemed like a business guy at first, but when he started talking to me he became really shy and bashful which I found adorable. What happens when Dad doesn't want to believe he is Santa Clause? Will me and my brother Charlie ever go back to the North Pole? Will I ever see Bernard again? And do we think of each other as friends or will it be something more?Complete

When I awoke from that wooden bed, there was a woman staring at me, the rocking chair she was sitting in rocking back in forth. Her gaze of me was sharp, a patient sharpness; a hunter's gaze. As I stood up from the creaking bed, I was able to see that I was in a cabin. The place was a dimly lit cabin, with giant candles surrounding all corners of the room, book shelves filled with countless books were on every wall, and lastly there were stairs leading to a second floor. The woman's gaze averted from me, as if she was released from a burden. On top of her lap sat a book that she started reading. the title of the book was "How To Knit A Sweater." The Woman was beautiful, her skin as white as snow, her hair long and dark. Her wrists wore leather wristbands with black skulls on them-
