Er bemerkt zu spät, dass sich ein Einsatzkommando der Weltregierung Zutritt zu seinem Labor verschwafft hat, um ihn festzunehmen und vor Gericht zu stellen. Der Leiter des Kommandos ist Eustass Kid, welcher jenseits von Gut und Böse seinen Platz hat.
