You play ____/____ an ex-mental patient handling their demons. You work in a cake shop, go to art college and every day you chat with your very special friends.. trouble is only you can see them.

This is my new narrative "In distress" based on the effects of mental illness
(None of the events in the narrative is true or is intended to replicate any real events)
This is written in the reader's point of view. Gender is not specific, although the patient in my mind is female, however, the narrative fits both. The character has had schizophrenia from an early age and was placed in a mental facility to be cured. Showing signs of recovery, you are released and given your own place provided the carer is there to inspect your behaviour. But finally after 10 years inside you have a bit of freedom; you can go out, attend the local art college and work part-time. Something you never thought you would have.
But things are never cured that easily recover secrets you never knew your mind would hide.....

Elliot's partner was his whole world, but after Allan's death, his ghost haunts Elliot's dreams. Everyone tells Elliot to move on, but he isn't sure he can. ***** It's been a year since the love of Elliot's life, Allan, passed away. Everyone thinks he should have recovered after that much time, but Allan still haunts Elliot every night. He struggles to maintain relationships with his family, and despite a coworkers interest he can't summon up the courage to date. Elliot is living for the past, because to live for the present means he'll have to live with a hole in his heart.
