I bend my fingertips and feel my skin. I've never felt like this before and the feeling is wonderful. I can hear it beating inside me. Something that I longed for so long. A heart. I turn towards him and smile the way I've seen people doing.
"Wonderful," I say.
"But, I'll only let you be like this once you've completed your mission. Remember what you have to do. Kill the four of them. Do you hear me? Kill. Them."
