Talon Jackson is an avid hunter. In the small town of Glacier, Washington, there's not much else to do. Every year his father would take him deep into the Cascade Mountain Range and stay in his hunting cabin for a week or so. After his father's sudden death, Talon keeps up the hunting tradition. This season he will realize he isn't, nor was he ever, hunting alone. Lakota Fox belongs to the Cascade Range Pack/Tribe. Their pack village lies deep in the Cascade Range. For centuries they haven't been found by the humans from neighboring towns. Every year two human males come near their territory, but never cross it. The young male always made Lakota's body and soul hum while she watched him grow up. This season both of their lives will turn upside down as they discover each other.
