When Lezabel was very young, Joker hijacked a school bus which batman had to choose between the bus she was on or a orphanage. Well, Lezabel being a young was in the front seat next to the joker who was in the driver seat. She taps him the shoulder asking him why did batman have to choose. He does one of his joker laughs and explains because it's fun.
While this moment would've scarred most kids for life, young Lezabel who was only 10 at the time became infatuated with the King of Crime.
