Belladonna, or most well known as the descendant, has been running away her whole life, running away from terrible things that lurk in the shadows behind her. Those who she love fall always find themselves killed by her love, and those whom she hates are always dead before the blink of an eye.
She has never known love and has never been shown what peace is; but, once she meets a mysterious guy whose gaze seems to penetrate her soul and decipher her darkest secrets there is no looking back. Once you've been marked there is no way back but keep moving forward.
