Dakota. A German Shepherd born with some very unique fighting abilities, finds herself in Ou, and helping out in a major battle against a giant man eating bear named Akakabuto and his minions. Along the way she meets friends, enemies, even love, and more importantly, herself. She doesn't know why she was born different from the others, but she plans to embrace it and live with it.
Along the way, Dakota must face her sisters, Tamiko and Soruji, who claim she left them to die, and try to fend them off while looking for her other lost sister, Taylor.
Will Dakota be able to survive the harsh life of a wild dog? Or will she be killed off like thousands of others in this big war?
