Jamie Diamond, a not so normal 15 year old that lives in New York City, is in for a heart breaking and troublesome adventure.
Jamie's mother was diagnosed with cancer on Jamie's 15th birthday. Ever since then Jamie droped out of school and took care of her mother full time. A couple of day's before her 16th birthday, Jamie was told by her mother about a letter. The letter changed Jamie's life forever.
Jamie has to travel across the country to travel to California. She has to meet her father, the Alpha of The Blaze Pack. Jamie has to break the news to her father about her mother. Everything from there spirals downwards. But it might change.
A certain someone might be her mate but can he help become the same girl before her mom was diagnosed? With rouges attacking it might never happen.

Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal.
