| I've recently updated and edited the writing style of this from first person which I've grown to dislike to third person. It's easier to be descriptive and I feel more comfortable writing that way. Enjoy! |

70 parts Complete Mature

"I'm not entertaining this anymore." She gave his chest another push. "Your pet's done playing games tonight." "My question," He reminded her. She held up her middle finger. "My answer." Evie Wicker is so done with the supernatural world. Like, 100% done with it. Totally. And she's quite content with her cute little human shop, her good-for-nothing boyfriend and a microwave meal every night. Oh yeah. Evie Wicker swapped out the magic spells and the witchy badassery for takeaway food and the 9 to 5. No regrets? Right... "What do you think you're doing?" Half-dressed, she rose with a tank top in hand. He cursed again at the sight of it. His night was going to be awful. With breasts like that pressed against him, what was a man to do? "I figured since I don't hold a candle to wolfy women, I've got nothing to worry about." He felt a growl building in his throat. "And we both know you're above easy witches." Century after century, Lorcan- King of the werewolves- has been comforted by the promise of her. His mate. He had expectations for greatness. Instead, he got her. Lacking. Why did she have to be a witch? "But you hate the witches." "I don't hate my witch." "You'd stop a war that's twice my age for me?" "Why else?" When he decides he wants her, will she want him back?
