His sister is paralyzed from the waist down, and his uncle is a shell of a man. Before the funeral can even take place, Peter packs up his niece and nephew, and leaves without a goodbye.

It's been nine years, now Stiles lives in a huge house with a large family. He has a step-mother named Melissa, and a step-brother named Scott, along with three adopted siblings and a foster brother.
