A story that looks at what it is like to live in poverty in America, the "greatest" country in the world. This is a slice of life story that comes from the bottom of the corporate ladder, right at the rung where people barely squeak by. A story of a girl who has come to accept her daily routine as just being part of life. Jaded by how the world treats her, she's forced to learn that other people live a life equally as complex as her own. Wishing for something more, but finding that she can be happy even when she has little at all.

I cannot promise that there will be no cliches or poor writing choices - this story is written for the love of writing more than anything.
