Brennen Taylor, as we all know is a popular YouTuber with 1.6 million subscribers, a semi-crazy family, a dog that he loves maybe a little bit more than himself and of course, no love life. But that last part, is about to change. When you, a 21-year-old aspiring photographer, walk into his life. You had just gotten out of an awful relationship with your now ex boyfriend, who mentally and sometimes physically abused you.

You moved to Los Angeles to hopefully get a fresh start. Jake Taylor, Brennen's older brother, is your best friend and is the only person that knows about your abusive ex-boyfriend. He wanted to help you and he offered to fly you out to L.A. and he graciously rented an apartment for you until you get a stable income flowing in. What will happen when Brennen falls for you within the first few weeks of knowing you? You feel the same way for him but are apprehensive of getting into another relationship, fearing that the same thing will happen all over again.
