"I know everyone in court hates me, so why should I even stay here?! " I said to him with so much anger and frustration. I knew that the king and queen didnt like me from the start. So why should I stay.
He walks towards me, places his right hand onto my face and cups my cheek.
"Does it look like I care what the others think of you." He told me quietly whispering.
His face inches closer to mine. So close I can feel his warm breath against my lips. And then he spoke after a huge moment of starring at each other.
"I love you Aurora, and no one can change that." After he said those words to me, his lips clasped with mine taking in all the feelings and emotion we had both saved up for the past few months.
This story is about a 23 year old woman who works at a bar but one say a man walks into her life. But he's not an ordinary guy. He is not only royalty but he also possess special abilities. As I was opening the door, a hand fell on mine, shutting it back. I could feel his presence behind me and I let out a shaky breathe. Then his face was next me. "Are you avoiding me?" He whispered. And then, then I did the most foolish thing imaginable: I flung my arms about his neck and kissed him with all that I had, almost losing myself in the safety and security I felt. But more than that, I ran. I took his moment of shock, the slight loosing of his arms about me, and tore myself away from him, shoving out the door and into the rain. I suppose I'll never know why he didn't follow me. It was the thing I feared most. I knew that if he came for me a second time, I wouldn't be able to say 'no'. I wouldn't be able to run. But I had to. I had to go. I couldn't let him be hurt because of me. He would live on now, and I would marry another. I had leased my last bit of passion in that one moment in his arms, and as I made my way through the dark streets, I felt myself become dull and lost like the creatures bound in the menagerie. **Much of this was written when I was younger and then I came back later and finished it.
