In a world in which a person's level of happiness is measured by the amount of color they see, Jeon Jeongguk can say he stands somewhere in the middle - not too happy but not sad either. The colors he sees aren't as saturated as his friends say they are but Jeongguk thinks he's content with that even if, deep inside, he knows he wants more, wants to know how the sky looks like when you're the happiest you could ever be. Jeongguk wants more, wants to see the sky on his happiest day, wants to see the world so brightly that his eyes start hurting but when he meets Kim Taehyung, he realizes he's been way too selfish, way too greedy. Because, despite him, Taehyung wears the most beautiful smile and he treats each day as if it was his last. Taehyung is the most amazing person Jeongguk's ever met, filled with happiness and joy, so much that Jeongguk's own world starts brightening up next to him, the colors he sees no longer seeming dull. So, to say that Jeongguk is shocked when he finds out the truth about Taehyung's life is an understatement. Taehyung, his Taehyung, the brightest person on that planet, has never seen the color of the sky or those of the flowers he adored so much. Some Kind Of Disaster
Alex is a fifteen year old boy who had the worst luck in life. He'd witnessed his parents deaths, he was bounced from foster home to foster home, but this was the last time. His torture was their entertainment. His pain was what they thrived on. Then it went way too far, and he ran. There was only one person he trusted, and it was the boy he met at school on his first day there. He barely knew this boy, but when he needed a friend, this sweet, raven haired boy told him the most important word that he hadn't heard in a long time. "You're safe." Safe was something Alex hadn't felt since he was a child, and even then, after the truth all came out, he realized he had never been safe in the first place. Jack was the boy's name, and Jack made Alex feel safe and loved. Disclaimer: Obviously I don't own Jack or Alex, and this story is simply a figment of my imagination.
